Services
Provided:
We
offer office, home, and community based services. Day, evening, and
weekend appointments are available.
Therapy
Services utilize an interactive
psycho-educational, insight oriented approach to treatment as well as play
therapy and behavior modification for our younger population. All
therapists are trained in Trauma Focused Treatment and various treatment
modalities related to children with trauma and reactive attachment.
Basic
Skills Training uses
a psycho-educational approach 1:1 with the client providing interventions
on improving basic living skills, social skills including interpersonal
functioning, communication skills, parent training, household management,
organizational skills, time management, and transitional living skills.
Service hours can be provided daily depending on the needs of the client.
Psychosocial
Rehabilitation Specialists
work intensely with the identified client and his/her family using a
psycho-educational approach along with behavior modification and insight
oriented counseling. Treatment issues include: parent education, behavior
management, relationship building including issues around identity and
intimacy, in-home family counseling, communication skills, moral
reasoning, social competency, problem identification, self-sufficiency,
emotion management including anxiety and anger, conflict resolution,
coping skills including the use of humor when dealing with life challenges
as well as, learning how to establish and achieve life goals.
Early
Intervention Services provides
various programming for children birth to age 6 along with their parents/caregivers.
These programs focus on the child's overall development including gross
and fine motor functioning, social and emotional development,
communication skills, and parent education. Parents along with their
children participate in parent to child /child to parent groups where they
engage in structured activities that promote bonding. Additionally,
Behavioral Health Specialist work 1:1 with the child & parent in the
family home to further promote effective parenting, emotional development,
social functioning, and parental bonding with the child.
